The Council of Ministers held Today has agreed to request from the Congress of Deputies authorization to extend the State of Alarm declared by Royal Decree 463/2020, of March 14, until 00:00 hours on April 12 and will be subject to the same conditions established in Royal Decree 463/2020, of March 14 (as modified by Royal Decree 465/2020, of March 17).

No specific additional measures have been adopted as regards the postponement of the deadlines to file and pay the VAT returns which remain the same. However, there is a decision which may indirectly affect this issue, namely: the possibility to obtain the endorsement of the Government up to the 80% of the Spanish bank loans dedicated to financing the payment of taxes.
